We have individually tested every single component of our candles, because, as you'll agree, the details matter.
And by the way, when you support our small business, you help us to empower women & spread a little love. We give back 10% of all shop profits to Chicago-based & women-focused charities. Hi, I'm Kara.
Burnt out & creatively stifled after a decade in corporate America, I spent 3 years obsessively running hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of candle tests in a 40-square foot Chicago kitchen to bring Beatrix & Co to life.
An avid home cook, I formulated my own candle "recipe", complete with distinct custom scents - all inspired by my happiest memories & far away places.
I spend my free time hanging with my rescue dog (Abby has been Beatrix & Co.'s employee of the month for 36+ months in a row!) mentoring other women entrepreneurs, reading voraciously, and eating & drinking my way through Chicago.
